Management of Physicians Imaging, LLC is vested in a Board of Managers.
Dr. Gerth is one of the members and has the additional function of Operational Manager of Physicians Imaging, LLC. Dr. Gerth is responsible for the daily operations of Physicians Imaging, LLC. Set forth below is a list of the Board of Managers, together with a brief description of their credentials.

Elias J. Gerth, MD FCCM
Dr. Gerth is the owner of a Monroe County, Florida medical practice specializing in Internal Medicine and Critical Care. He is also Medical Director of the Key West Diagnostic Center. Dr. Gerth is board certified in Internal Medicine and was previously board certified in Critical Care Medicine. He has been licensed to practice medicine in Florida, Colorado, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. In the past, he was Director of Intensive Care services in a large metropolitan hospital. He was inducted onto the College of Critical Care Medicine in 1990.

Robert M. Dias, CPA
Mr. Dias served as the Vice President and board member of Telekiew Production owned by the Lawrence Welk family. Telekiew is one of the world’s prominent music publishers and large real estate/resort developer. Mr. Dias is the co-founder of Mail Boxes Etc., which was recently sold to the United Parcel Service. Mr. Dias also directed the operations of a Madison Avenue Marketing company with such clients as American Airlines, Hublien, and Coca Cola, and is the past President of the National Association of Franchised Businessman. He has testified before the U.S. Senate and Congressional Committees on franchise regulation. In addition, Mr. Dias was involved with the construction of the first Scripps Hospital satellite clinic in California and was the builder for and is the largest shareholder of Key West Diagnostics. Mr. Dias’ Virginia based CPA practice specialized in consulting services to physicians involved in building professional centers and investment properties.

John Padget
Over a period of two decades, starting in 1980, Mr. Padget was the primary investor and CEO of several ventures including a chain of over 120 photo shops and the Budget Rent-a-Car franchise in four European countries. Mr. Padget, who is semi-retired and living in Key West, was most recently appointed Superintendent of Schools (2003-2004) in Monroe County, Florida, by Governor Jeb Bush. A graduate of the Harvard Business School and Cornell University, Mr. Padget holds honorary Doctor of Law degrees from the University of Rochester, and was Knighted by the Queen of the Netherlands. Mr. Padget also serves on the board of Take Stock in Children, a mentoring-scholarship program for Florida’s poverty-level children.

Joe E. Smith
Mr. Smith is originally from Louisiana and has been involved in health care administration since 1976. Mr. Smith served as a director of De-institutionalization at two large Louisiana State Institutions and was Regional Vice President for Affiliated Nursing Homes from 1985-1989.
Mr. Smith was appointed Chairman and CEO of Geriatrics, Inc., a 950-bed heath care chain. In addition, he owned and operated Gulf Coast Pharmaceutical Services, a specialty medical supply company, as well as a Physician Management Services Company. Mr. Smith served as a Director at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. Mr. Smith holds a bachelors degree from a Louisiana College and attended the OPM program at the Harvard Business School.

Mario E. Martinez
Mr. Martinez is owner of a Key West based Medical Laboratory which he has directed for over 45 years and serves as the President of Key West Diagnostics. Mr. Martinez has also served as the legislative aid to a representative of the Florida House of Representatives. Mr. Martinez has developed and sold several businesses, including Monroe Glass and Mirror Co., Driftwood on the Beach (a restaurant), and L&M Medical Laboratory. In addition, Mr. Martinez and a partner developed and sold the product “Aids Free Liquid Soap”. Mr. Martinez received a degree in Medical Technology and X-ray Technology from the University of Miami School of Medical Technology in 1960.

Neil J. Call
Mr. Call has an extensive experience in the fields of accounting, banking, public relations and strategic planning. Mr. Call earned a BBA and an MBA from the University of Michigan and became a CPA in 1960. Early in his career, Mr. Call served as a Senior Accountant for Ford Motor Company. Thereafter, he was Executive Vice President for Gulf and Western Industries where he was responsible for Corporate Finance, banking, public relations and strategic planning. Mr. Call has also served as an executive for management consulting companies, and as a Partner of MacKenzie Partners, Inc., another management consulting firm. Mr. Call served as Director of Southern Financial Bankcorp, Warrenton, VA for 19 years and has been a Commissioner of the Lower Florida Keys Hospital District since 1999.

Dr. Frank E. Seidelmann
Dr. Seidelmann brings a wealth of experience in radiology with subspecialty expertise in MRI interpretation. Dr. Seidelmann has over 15 years experience in interpreting MRI studies and functions as a consultant for radiologists and clinicians. He has lectured, both nationally and internationally. Dr. Seidelmann is the author of 40 articles and a contributing author to four textbooks, including a cross-selection anatomy atlas. Before venturing into the practice of teleradiology, Dr. Seidelmann co-founded an extremely successful hospital and out patient center based radiology group, at one time employing over 50 physicians. Additionally, he has held staff positions at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Seidelmann has particular interest and expertise in small joint imaging.
